Photographer, Cinematographer, and Author

Hello, I am Larry. As noted above I am a photographer, cinematographer, and author. This site is loaded with images I have shot over the years. I'm based in Texas between Dallas and Fort Worth. If you stay and take a look around you see that I have a number of galleries that are all filled with southwestern images. I also do portrait photography, so, if you have those or any other photography needs, please reach out. Also, take a moment to check out my "Books" page where you will find a brief description and links to my works.

Bluebonnets

You can't be a Texas photographer without taking at least a couple of shots of Bluebonnets. I think it actually a law...okay, it's not necessarily a law as much as it is a requirement. Okay, photographing Bluebonnets is not a requirement for working as a photographer in Texas, but for Heaven's sake why would you not?

The Glory of God

I love finding old and abandoned churches. This one was irresistible. I just happened to be in the area on a day when the Milky Way was going to be visible and I just couldn't resist taking this shot. This is, in fact, one single shot and not a composite. When I got home and started editing I noticed the two bright stars to the left of the Milky Way. As it turns out they are not stars at all but the planets Jupiter and Saturn.

Old Underwood

This old typewriter called to me when I came across it. Taking the shot wasn't even an option, I had to shoot it. I think Black and White really brings it out. When I started college, I had a typewriter not unlike this one. Electric typewriters were around at the time but they were expensive, and the PC had barely escaped Steve Job's imagination. Needless to say, I used a lot of white-out in those days.
